My goal is to collaborate with you, the client, to create a safe place to allow you explore issues, find ways to strengthen your skills and resources, and clear your path to more life satisfaction. I love to help people recognize their strengths, build on them, and develop emotional health and a sense of well-being. I believe all humans beings are creative, resourceful and have inner wholeness. Remembering or finding your connection to those qualities is often the purpose of individual therapy.
Adult Family Therapy, Couple’s and Group Therapy
Involving other people in your adventure, in the form of adult family therapy, couple’s work, or group therapy, creates opportunities to change familiar habits, behavior patterns and develop even better relationships. More people into the room provides complex opportunities for different dynamics to emerge, can help heal old hurts, and build trust.
Whether you want relief from emotional pain, to change frustrating family behaviors, or to find deeper meaning in life, therapy can be a place to heal, explore and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
Expressive Arts Therapies
Some of the tools for this expedition include traditional talk therapy, role playing, using art materials, and action methods (physically moving around). No previous experience with any tool or technique is needed. We can think of it as an adventure to find or make your clear path to better relationships with yourself, your family, your coworkers, your life.
