Lorraine Tedrow, MA, LMHC
I appreciate the seasons of life, and the challenges they can present. I respect the divine spark in all beings, believe we are all connected, and our actions affect each other. I assist people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and health issues. I know those issues are challenging and the impact they can have on important relationships. I am committed to supporting individuals, couples and adult families dealing with them.
My training is grounded in family systems perspective, which looks at how people, families, and cultures relate and influence each other. I have a Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy. I have additional training in Self Regulation Therapy (SRT), Psychodrama and Action Methods, and Coaching. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State.
With over ten years of experience helping couples, families, individuals, and groups, I bring compassion, sensitivity, intuition, and creativity to the counseling process. I respect each person’s religious/spiritual heritage, beliefs, and practice, as well as their unique cultural heritage.
I enjoy creative expression in many forms, including gardening and painting. I have a deep love and respect for the natural world and believe connection with it and the rhythms of life can be very healing.
